Recipe of the Week! #2

Who doesn't like fried chicken? What if there was a healthier and easy way to cook it? For this week's recipe, we have Oven Fried Oatmeal Chicken! It is quick and easy to prepare, yet very delicious.


Ingredients:
10-12 pieces of Chicken Breast Fillet

1 1/2 cup full milk (you can also use non-fat milk)
1 1/2 tablespoon of vinegar
2 cups of instant Oatmeal
1 cup of Parmesan cheese

1 cup of melted butter

Marinade

2 tsp of Garlic salt
2 tsp of Cayenne pepper
2 tsp of White pepper
1/2 tsp of Chili powder

Procedure
1. Marinate the breast fillets for 20 minutes.
2. While the breast fillets are marinating, pour milk in bowl with vinegar. Let it stand for 15 minutes then mix.
3. In another bowl, mix the instant oatmeal and Parmesan cheese.
4. When the breast fillets are marinated, dip the fillets in milk then in oatmeal.* Remember to coat very well!*
5. Arrange fillets in a baking tray, and pour over melted butter.  Make sure to evenly pour the butter over the pieces.
6. Bake in preheated 375 degrees oven for 40-50 minutes or until browned.
7. After it bakes, let it cool and enjoy!!!!
 **Make sure to be careful with taking it out of the baking pan!!!*
